Manage My Vessel announces the release of their Fleet Management and ISM / Safety Management Modules to their existing vessel management solution. The much anticipated Fleet Management feature promises to take yacht management to a whole new level for Yacht management companies. The Module allows fleet users to create multiple individual fleet vessel accounts; each account typically contains one master vessel and their associated tenders.

Fleet Management allows the management company to centrally manage all of the important aspects for their entire fleet of yachts. 

Some key features include the ability to create Global announcements and important links with the ability to apply them to your whole fleet or assign them to specific yachts. All fleet vessel accounts can be accessed from the main Fleet Manager portal, giving the management company the capability to access all of ManageMyVessel.com management features such as viewing the yachts Planned Maintenance, Jobs, Inventory and Equipment lists, Tasks and Issues, Crew, Documents and more.

Management Companies can globally control all documents from the Fleet portal and assign them to specific yachts within the fleet. The document manager allows fleet users to assign categories and groups to their documents for better organization.   Fleet Users may also set expiration dates on all documents to remind them when documents need to be updated.

The Fleet module also allows fleet users to create mandatory Vessel document lists that can also be applied to all or selected vessels within the fleet. This gives the management company the capability of controlling all required documents for all vessels within their fleet, ensuring that each and every vessel has the updated set of required documents. All documents are centrally located and available for all fleet users and vessel account users such as Crew.

 The Mandatory Crew Documents feature works similar to the Mandatory Vessel document list, allowing fleet users to create Crew Required Document Lists based the Crew position. Each vessel of the fleet will then be able to see all mandatory documents required and missing with the ability to easily upload them into their yachts account. Fleet users can easily review what documents are still required and what documents are completed based on the mandatory crew document list.

Under the Safety Management menu, management companies can upload their ISM/SMS, Safety Management Manuals with the ability to assign the manual to  all or selected vessels within the fleet as needed. Fleet users can easily make changes where required to any pages within the manual and all changes are tracked in the system. This versioning feature is an important as most Flag States require yachts to show version changes made to the Safety Management manual.   When an audit is requested from a Flag State or if done internally, management companies can show all changes made together with the date, time and user information that the updates where made along with any notes made by the user.   

Forms and Checklists, an integral part of Safety Management is also controlled by Fleet users. The forms and Templates module allows management companies the ability to create customized forms, checklists and procedures specific to any selected vessels within the fleet. ManageMyVessel.com works with Management Companies to assist in the design and creation of these customized forms and templates. Once created the fleet user can check them into any fleet vessel at which time they can be accessed by the users and crew of the specific fleet vessel. These  can be completed electronically by crew and are  stored electronically together with the date, time and crew member that filled out the electronic forms. All forms and checklists may be accessed across all Smartphone, laptop or tablet PC, making it an extremely powerful tool for crew members to handle required procedures from anywhere onboard the vessel.
